Colorblind

The fading effect in the movie is on purpose. The blur of white and a sudden colorful exposure would be a perfect contrast in the initial scene of the movie.

The color white symbolizes the motive of peace and calmness. On the contrary, the black would be extreme, repulsive, oppressive and a sign of obsessiveness. The black would drive you to the shades of darkness where you would expect the unexpected. The shift of the time, the rotation of the earth, the day changing to the night, the leaf drying from green to gray everything has a color and certainly it changes over a period of time.

If you are trying to catch up on Author's thought of co-relating it to the human's errand then the judgment is completely mistaken. The point is not to bring in the similarity or prove the timely effect on human but to pin the color shift and their effect on us. How about this, the difference between the 2 extremes of the colors is so distinctively defined that the impression is justified by just a glance of either. The Darker would be evil and the Lighter would be calm. We want the latter but the former is more attractive, isn't it. So are we color blinded?
